In Good Order’s favourite organizing supply store on the Danforth in the heart of Greektown. They offer everything you need to get organized as well as lovely gift items and things to treat yourself to. Some well-chosen furniture pieces and knowledgeable owners. Also offer an online store. – Christie  Peter Laywine at his front counter Two of my favourite things are found in this store – fountain pens and paper organizers! Even those of us who have gone digital can be enraptured by a beautiful paper planner. I can’t count the number of fountain pens I’ve come across organizing clients’ offices. Always loved, they are usually no longer used because they’ve dried up or don’t work well anymore. I take the pens to Laywine’s for a new lease on life. After the repair, the store sends home well-written maintenance instructions to keep them working. Writing with a fountain pen is one of life’s small pleasures I indulge in everyday! – Christie
A great specialty store on the funky Queen Street West strip close to Bathurst that sells the best looking organizing and storage supplies I’ve found in Toronto. Including some of our favourites: Blomus, Reisenthel and Kartell furnishings. They are also dealers of the must-have Shoebby. – Christie
A well-stocked, attractive scrapbooking store in Toronto’s Beaches area.  Solutions storefront Every organizer’s best source for everything organized! For the DIY enthusiasts, they carry Schulte Freedom rail closet systems, which they will custom cut for you from your measurements. Find them at Yonge & Eglinton or other suburban locations around the GTA. – Christie
 The Umbra Concept Store Umbra’s concept store is the great big pink building- you can’t miss it! A Canadian design success story: they sell good quality, great looking and well-priced items for the home, with very helpful and friendly staff. A big thank you to Mark Wallis, the Umbra Concept Store manager, who hosted the Professional Organizers in Canada Toronto Social Committee for an in-depth personal manager’s tour of the store! Definitely worth a visit as there are many items for sale in the store that are not available on their website or through their resellers. – Christie |
